Our first year in existence was better than we could have hoped for. And we owe much of that success to our volunteers and our many supporters. Yes, you are the eyes and ears and hands and voice of our cause. Without your help, it would be difficult to carry out the many activities we have planned in 2011.

We are planning our first volunteer Meet and Greet from 6:30 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, April 7, 2011, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church located at 4600 Preserve Parkway in Hoover. We will meet in the multi-purpose room located in the parish hall.  And you are invited! We would like for you to bring a friend or a family member or both. During this time, first and foremost, we want to meet you and thank you! And we want you to meet each other in this "family" of volunteers. There will be refreshments, a door prize, and a little time so that we can get to know each other a little better.

During this meeting, we will also want to share with you the various events we have scheduled and explain how you can help in specific ways. We have so many talents available to us and we want to make sure you are engaging in an activity that suits you and your schedule.

So join us on April 7th and let's get the year off to a great start! We are so thankful for you and look forward to connecting with you to personally meet you and thank you.
