Bottletree Cafe was a swarming with pirates and ninjas all in costume and ready to come together to support the Foundation in the second annual Pirates and Ninjas vs. Ovarian Cancer benefit held on Friday, May 14, 2011. Our Young Advisory Board, founders of this event, executed a well-planned gathering of both young and old as we enjoyed the music of DJ Rafa and the VEGABONDS as well as performances by the Birmingham Ballet. The aroma of freshly baked Papa Murphy's Pizza filled the air and all who came enjoyed a packed night of entertainment, including the all-important costume contest featuring the best pirate and the best ninja costume.
