Facts about ovarian cancer/LCBOCF
The Laura Crandall Brown Ovarian Cancer Foundation strives for education and awareness of this disease and its symptoms, and to support research focused on an early detection diagnostic test. One in 71 women will face ovarian cancer in their lifetime.  Current statistics show that nearly 22,000 cases were diagnosed last year, and over 15,000 women died from this silent killer.  Ovarian cancer is the ninth most common cancer among women, excluding non-melanoma skin cancers. It ranks fifth in cancer deaths among women, accounting for more deaths than any other cancer of the female reproductive system.
