Press Release - Tickled Teal

The CanSurvive GYN Cancer Support Group and the Laura Crandall Brown Ovarian Cancer Foundation are pleased to join forces in an upcoming joint fundraiser. The second annual Tickled Teal show will be held Thursday, December 5 at 7:30 p.m. at the Comedy Club Stardome located at 1818 Data Drive, Hoover, AL. This year's act will be Etta May, known as the Queen of Southern Sass.

The show will start promptly at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., so please come early and purchase dinner, snacks, and beverages to help our cause as well. Early arrival will provide a great opportunity to wind down from your day and socialize with others in attendance.

Tickets to the show would be a great holiday gift and you might consider inviting your friends or co-workers for your official holiday party.

Tickets are on sale now at the Comedy Club Stardome box office. Call (205) 444-0008 or purchase online at www.stardome.com. Be certain to select the Thursday, December 5 performance. Tickets are $37.50 plus $2.50 ticket handling charge. Twenty-five dollars ($25) of each ticket purchased is tax deductible. The CanSurvive GYN Cancer Support Group is for women with gynecologic cancers, their families, friends, loved ones and the professionals who treat them. We recognize that in addition to excellent medical care, there is a deep need for emotional, spiritual, and educational support when faced with the challenge of a life-threatening illness.

The mission of the Laura Crandall Brown Ovarian Cancer Foundation is to provide funding in support of research for the early detection and treatment of ovarian cancer. It is imperative that we bring awareness and educate the public about this silent killer. By focusing on early detection, we have the chance to fight it, to beat it, to live!
