There is no reliable early detection test for ovarian cancer. If it is caught early, it can be successfully treated in 90+% of the cases. However, most patients are diagnosed in the later stages when the disease is more difficult to treat. The Laura Crandall Brown Ovarian Cancer Foundation was established in 2010 by family and friends of Laura Crandall Brown who died of ovarian cancer in December of 2009. Our mission is to fund research to find a reliable diagnostic tool to detect ovarian cancer in its earliest stages and to raise awareness about the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer.
The Laura Crandall Brown Ovarian Cancer Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
