Laura is Executive Vice President of Commercial Banking at Synovus Bank and is responsible for commercial banking activities in the Birmingham market.  She has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry working with commercial clients to develop creative solutions to complex issues. Laura earned her bachelor’s in Commerce with a concentration in Finance and Marketing from the University of Virginia and her MBA from Boston College.

Active in the Birmingham community, Laura volunteers with the United Way and several other organizations within the Oak Mountain community.  She is an advisory board member of the ARC of Shelby County and the Brock School of Business at Samford University. She and her husband are longtime residents of Shelby County and have two college-age children.
